Emerging Iran female director Azar Faramarzi has grabbed jury appearance at 2018 India short & feature film festival.
The event held in two Indian cities of Mumbai and Pune will have actor director Faramarzi on the selection committee.
The filmfest has been organized thanks to the efforts of Iran Culture House based in Mumbai in association with Federation of Film Societies of India, among other patrons.
During the festival in July, the Iranian female director will review submissions from Iran, Germany, Russia, India, Tajikistan, South Korea and Myanmar.
Born in the capital city of Tehran, Iranian actress, producer and director Azar Faramarzi is a Film and TV Direction graduate from Symbiosis International (Deemed University) in India and has also been acting in television and films for some years. The artist has completed at least four short films, two documentaries and two fictional films.
She has acted as jury member at the Third Eye Asian Film Festival, India in 2010 and 2014. Faramarzi was also selected for the jury at the World Film Festival in San Francisco which took place in 2016.
